SEMI Technology Symposium(STS)
It is great honor to welcome to all participants, guests and speaker of SEMICON Korea STS 2012, holding its 25th conference this year.
The globale economy was strained in the last year 2011 due to the disruptions from the Japanese eartquake, and the mounting fiscal problem in a few European nations. In addition, the market was more difficult to stabilize profits because of the fierce price competition by Chinese makers and steadily raised cost of raw materials. Even though these obstacles, we achieved great performance in the semiconductor industry, which I would like to attribute to our relentless efforts.
Many companies are falling behind by faling to read the trends in the market even after massively spending on R&D costs. Internal capabilites alone cannot grip and maintain leadership against a rapidly changing environment. The 25th STS will be providea a unique opportunity to meet the latest and most advanced technologies on semiconductor devices covering next generation semiconductor technology trend.
In the STS 2012, recent progress in all aspects of semiconductor research, engineering manufacturing and applications will be presented and discussed. The STS 2012 will contribute to lead next-generation semiconductor technology, Contamination-free Manufacturing and CMP Technology,Packaging Technology. It will be productive and joyful conference than you expected.
I hope that this STS will provide you with an insight into the semiconductor technology through in-depth discussion and interactive information sharing from all the attendees.
