Rex Chen

Rex Chen, Ph.D. is the Director of Strategic Business Development for 5G at LitePoint with responsibility in growing the 5G business, product roadmap conception and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining LitePoint, Chen was the Director of Engineering for Intel and spent time leading global R&D team in the wireless modem group. He was also the Factory Production Project Engineer (PE) for the cellular device group. And before Intel, Chen spent more than 10 years at Qualcomm in total, with various roles in engineering developments and customer support for more than five generations of the snapdragon modem.

Chen received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine and holds 4 U.S. patents. Earlier in his career, he worked at Cisco and several start-up companies. He enjoys yoga and advise start-up companies within the software and semiconductor space and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
