Edwin Chew

Edwin Chew has been in Regional Product Marketing Role since 2018 helping WBG and HDD industry players meet their inspection needs with KLA’s Candela inspection portfolio

He joined KLA in 2009, he took up an application job role in the HDD group supporting substrate and media inspection.  He transitioned to Wafer Applications in 2015 supporting the Wide band gap industry for materials like GaN and SiC amongst others.  During the last 16 years in KLA, he has been involved in several Candela inspection tool transitions to the latest generation today.  Prior to joining KLA, he was in the HDD manufacturing industry for 5 years and hence is able to look at situations from both sides of the coin to drive suitable solutions for KLA’s customers.  

The compound semi space have seen a lot of growth in the Power, LED and communications segments and is an exciting space to be in.
