SVP / Head of R&D Center, QRT

“Kiseog Kim”, Ph.D. has been the senior vice president position at QRT since 2018 with responsibility of the Head of R&D center. “Kim” has developed commercialized equipment to evaluate semiconductor defects due to cosmic radiation. In addition to it, “Kim” has led development of specialized equipment to evaluate the reliability of RF semiconductors, burn-in equipment of artificial intelligence semiconductor modules, specialized equipment to evaluate the reliability of high-speed SSD equipment, and systems specialized in evaluating the reliability of various semiconductors.

Prior to joining QRT, “Kim” was vice president position for SK Hynix. During his 22 years at SK Hynix, “Kim” spent time doing responsibility of development of NAND and NOR Flash Memory. In Hynix, “Kim” led product development using cutting-edge technology of 3D NAND flash product development as well as NAND product development using from 120nm to 20nm technology.

”Kim” received a Ph.D degree in Physics from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. “Kim” developed newly CoAxial Impact Collision Ion Scattering Spectroscopy (CAICISS) system that analyzes the composition and three-dimensional structure of a solid surface, providing a turning point for three-dimensional structure analysis.
