Sungjun Byun

Sungjun Byun has been a Surfscan-ADE Product Marketing Manager at KLA Corporation since April 2020 with responsibility for Korea Surfscan-ADE account and customer management, including management of tool evaluations and product application adoption, which are critical for fab success. 

Prior to joining KLA Corporation, Mr. Byun was Key Account Technologist for Applied Materials. During his 16 years at Applied Materials, Mr. Byun was responsible for business success from the technology point of view by the management of install base and new products application performance to drive customer satisfaction. He also managed the definition and implementation of processes and applications, to meet the customer’s current and future requirements for productivity and leading-edge technology, using Applied Materials’ products.

Mr. Byun received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon, South Korea.
