Ping Tzeng
RD Scientist, Dupont
Ping Tzeng, Ph.D. has been in RD scientist position at DuPont for five years on product and in-house methodology development. Ping started his career in DuPont developing photovoltaic conductive paste, resulting in several generations of successful products. While switching gear back to semiconductor business, he focused on FEOL post-CMP clean formulation development, delivering positive demos with ongoing product commercialization.
Prior to joining DuPont, Tzeng was Principal Investigator in TSMC. During his time in Yield Excellence Department, he co-worked with modules for process optimization/yield enhancement, and defined root cause of newly-formed defect by morphological and elemental analysis.
Tzeng received a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, USA and Master/bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. Tzeng focused his academic research on nanocomposite assemblies via electrospinning and layer-by-layer deposition, where the techniques were applied in gas barrier/separation membranes and optical sensors.
