Paul Jacobson

Paul Jacobson is a Senior Expert based in McKinsey’s Washington D.C. office. He leads client engagements focused on the origination and development of capital projects with ~20 years’ experience in developing major projects across Africa, Europe and North America. He specializes in industrial and transportation assets and in the application of infratech in transportation. He has served clients on topics ranging from Public-Private Partnership development, greenfield transportation programs, the intersection of technology and transportation, and strategy and growth topics in infratech.

Prior to McKinsey, Jacobson played a leading role in developing a portfolio of solar PV projects in Germany and Italy with the Green Enesys Group and in developing major petrochemical projects at Sasol, South Africa.

Jacobson’s qualifications include an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
