John Cossins

John Cossins received his degree in Solid State Physics from the University of Northumbria in the UK in 1982.  He worked for several years as a research scientist for sub-micron CMOS device development specializing in lithography and patterning, before joining semiconductor equipment companies, including ASML, Lam Research and ASM. Mr. Cossins has held various technical and business development roles, most related to the development of new patterning technology.  At Infinitesima, Mr. Cossins is responsible for developing new markets for the high-speed probe metrology that has been developed there, and for ensuring that Infinitesima products meet the overall requirements of in - line tools for HVM semiconductor manufacturing.
