Jack Jones
Head of Technology Trade and Investment (INDOPAC), Department for Business and Trade (UK)
Jack Jones has been the Head of Technology Trade and Investment covering the IndoPacific region since 2023, with responsibility for delivering the UK Government’s trade and investment priorities across 5 identified critical technologies; Semiconductors, Quantum, AI, Future Telecoms and Engineering Biology.
Prior to this role, Jack led the UK Government’s trade and investment strategy for Fintech, and previously worked for several years as a technology consultant to the financial services industry and as an M&A advisor across multiple sectors.
Jack received his degree in Economics from Durham University in 2014 and is passionate about ensuring UK technology has the capital, capability and capacity required to thrive globally.
