Thomas Ponnuswamy

Dr. Thomas Ponnuswamy is a Product Line Head and Managing Director of Sabre 3D Platform in the Wet Metals business unit within Lam Research. He has worked at Lam Research for 22 years. He was previously the Sr. Director of Technology and responsible for the development of processes pertaining to electrodeposition of advanced packaging applications including TSV (through silicon via) and WLP (wafer level packaging). Prior to this he held a range of technical positions in the Wet metals business unit with a primary focus of developing electrodepostion solutions for the Cu Damascene process. He has over thirty patents and has a doctorate in Analytical chemistry from the University of North Texas.
