Prof. Uimin Choi

Ui-Min Choi received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Ajou University, Suwon, Korea, in 2011 and 2013, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark, in 2016, all in electrical engineering.

From 2016 to 2018, he was a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University. In 2018, he joined the Department of Smart ICT Convergence Engineering, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul, Korea, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. He was a partner researcher with Grundfos Holding A/S, Bjerringbro, Denmark, from 2014 to 2018. His research interests include the reliability of power electronic components and systems, power electronics in renewable energy generation, and multilevel converters.

Dr. Choi received the IEEE Power Electronics Transactions Second Prize Paper Award in 2017. He is a senior member of IEEE and presently serving as an Associate Editor of both the IEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics and the Journal of Power Electronics.
