Alfred Lim, MSc, BEng, brings over 30 years of distinguished leadership in the semiconductor sector, currently serving as the Business Development Director for ASMPT's Al/IOT and factory automation solutions. As ASMPT's Director since 2022, Alfred spearheads the delivery of SMART AI & IOT automation solutions, addressing customer needs for enhanced productivity, quality, digital transformation, and lights-out operations.  

With a rich history in management roles at renowned semiconductor companies like AMD, GlobalFoundries, SSMC, JCET, and NXP, Alfred is a seasoned professional in industrial engineering, specializing in productivity optimization, cost and quality-driven initiatives, global supply chain management (S&OP), and factory automation.  

Holding a Master's in Industrial Engineering & System from NUS, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the UK, and a factory automation diploma, Alfred uniquely combines academic knowledge with hands-on semiconductor experience, offering invaluable insights into the future of AIOT technology and its industry impact.
