Jay(Jeongwook) Kim

“Jay Kim”, Ph.D. has been EVP position at DEEPX since 2022with responsibility of overseeing R&D. 

Before joining DEEPX, “Dr. Kim” was a VP of Samsung Electronics. During his 15years at Samsung Electronics, “Dr. Kim” spent time developing S-GPU (Samsung Dedicated GPU) and SRP (Samsung Reconfigurable Processor, a kind of DSP). SRP had been used for audio solutionsofGalaxyS1~S3 and it is still used for Samsung’s high-end DTV.

Dr. Kim received a Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineeringfield from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA and a Master degree in Electronics field from the Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea.
