Dan Salvetti

Semiconductor Industry Manager, Colorado Global Business Development

Dan Salvetti has served as the State of Colorado’s Semiconductor Industry Manager since May 2023, supporting Colorado’s thriving, globally connected semiconductor ecosystem. He is responsible for advising on CHIPS Act programs, building connections globally, administering a $75 million tax incentive program, and managing additional support programs. His efforts helped realize the second award under the CHIPS Incentives program: $90 million to support Microchip’s $900 million Colorado expansion.

Prior to his current role, Salvetti was an economic strategist for the State of Colorado and an economist for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in Washington, DC.

Salvetti received a MA in Economics from Northeastern University and a BA in Economics from the University of Florida. He served on the Colorado Governor’s Revenue Estimating Advisory Committee and as the International Trade Chair for the Leeds School of Business Annual Economic Outlook.

Salvetti enjoys getting outdoors with his wife, daughter, and dog.
