Dan Tracy

Daniel Tracy, Ph.D. has been the Senior Director of Market Research and a Senior Analyst at TECHCET since 2018. He covers the sputtering targets and deposition materials, silicon wafers, and packaging materials markets.

Dan has over 25 years of experience in the electronics industry covering supply-chain topics related to semiconductor packaging, thin films, semiconductor process equipment, and semiconductor materials.

He has experience as the senior director of the Industry Research & Statistics group at SEMI and at Rose Associates.

His Ph.D. is in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Chemistry from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
