Dechao Guo

Dechao Guo, Ph.D., has been Senior Research Manager at IBM Research since 2017. He is concurrently Principal Research Staff Member, responsible for logic CMOS technology roadmap, as well as logic technology R&D for IBM systems and Joint Development Alliance partners.

Dr. Guo has more than 13 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with profound R&D experience in high-k/metal gate, FinFET, and Nanosheet technologies. He has more than 140 issued US patents and more than 40 publications in the field of Semiconductor technology.

Dechao Guo received a B.S. degree in microelectronics from Peking University, Beijing, China and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Yale University, New Haven, CT, USA.
