Kwangjoo Lee
Research Fellow/ Semiconductor Materials R&D Leader LG Chem
Kwangjoo Lee, Ph.D. is a Research Fellow at LG Chem and is currently directing the Semiconductor Packaging Materials R&D Group. Dr. Lee has worked in the areas of Semiconductor Adhesive Film, Photo-imageable Dielectric Materials, and Photosensitive Polyimide Film Materials since joining LG Chem in 2005.
Prior to joining LG Chem, Dr. Lee was a Post Doc. in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Columbia University, New York for 4 years with international SEMATECH funding. During her years at Columbia University, Dr. Lee worked in the areas of Photolithography and Micropattering upon Various Wavelength of UV irradiation, Synthesis and Surface Modification of Polymer and Polymer Thin Films, and Nanoparticle Fabrication et al.
Dr. Lee received a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the University of Maryland at College Park, Maryland, U.S.A and a master’s & B.S degree from the Ewha Womans University, Seoul, Korea.
Dr. Lee has received the IR52 Jang Young-Shil Award in 2018, Engineer of the Korea Award in 2016, LG Chem Excellent Research Award in 2015, and Korea New Excellent Technology (NET) Award in 2010.
