ByeongGeun Kim

ByeongGeun Kim, Ph.D received his Bachelor/Master/Ph.D of Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University. The major was based on the molecular dynamics simulation about the heat and mass transfer of the nano systems. He first got his start in Mechanical engineering in LG electronics, he conducted various heat and fluids simulations. Also, he experimented on electronics such as refrigerator, washing machine, and air conditioner, etc to support the R&D.

After 4 years working in LG electronics, he moved to Samsung Engineering. During his 4 years at Samsung Engineering, he designed rotating and package equipment. (i.e. Refrigeration over 10MW, flare stack over 150m, demineralized water package and so on.)

ByeongGeun Kim, Ph.D joined SEMES about 5 years ago. First, he was a technical leader of the heat and fluid simulation. And now, he is a group leader of the Core Technology Laboratory in R&D Center. The Lab that he is in charge has a responsibility of both mechanical design of part/module of Semiconductor Equipment and the instrumentation & material analysis for troubleshooting.
