Taehwan Im

Taehwan Im has been subleader at Tokyo Electron Korea Etching System, Technical support team since 2022, he is responsible for technical support and RF technical support of next-generation equipment.

He was selected as one of the 2021 Outstanding Employee in Tokyo Electron Limited group.

Prior to coming back to Korea, Taehwan Im was working as a RF technical engineer on the engineering team in Tokyo Electron Miyagi in Japan for 4 years. As an expatriate member, he had a lot of experience in RF unit development. Tokyo Electron Limited is a company with 60 years of history, he could learn a lot of development history and various new items through working at the manufacturing plant of headquarters in Japan.

Prior to joining Etching System-Technical support team, Taehwan Im was an electrical engineer on the engineering team for 8 years in Tokyo Electron Korea factory which is a customer service organization that provides fast, cheap, and localized service with customers’ satisfaction in mind. He got involved to develop various new system and RF unit localization project.

Taehwan Im graduated from AJOU university in 2007, majoring in electronic engineering. He has been collecting Japanese vintage computers and speaks fluent Japanese. He is married and have one lovely daughter.
