Tae Joo Park

Tae Joo Park received the B. Eng and Ph. D degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Seoul National University in 2002 and 2008, respectively, followed by working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Texas. Since 2011, he has been serving as a professor in the Department of Materials Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Hanyang University, earning recognition as a world-leading researcher in the field of atomic layer deposition technology.

He possesses distinctive expertise in semiconductor components and material technology, particularly gaining acclaim for his innovative approach to powder atomic layer deposition coating technology. His wealth of experience and knowledge has been accumulated through collaborations and joint research with various major corporations since 2012. This has enabled him to secure extensive experience and expertise in atomic layer coating processes, showcasing remarkable research and development capabilities to meet diverse demands.

In addition, CEO Tae Joo Park, leveraging his extensive research experience and expertise in powder atomic layer deposition technology, founded ALPES Inc. in early 2022 with the aim of mass-producing CMP and battery application materials. In December 2022, the company is preparing for mass production by establishing the first domestic mass production facility for powder atomic layer deposition coating.
