Cheolkyu Kim

Cheolkyu Kim, Ph.D has been Sr. Director of Applications with responsibility of managing and guiding applications group to find and provide technical solutions to customers’ high value problems.  

Prior to joining Onto, Kim was a postdoctoral research associate in the Physic Department of Brown University. During his 3 years in Brown University, Kim spent time doing researches about magnetically levitated superfluid liquid helium. 

Kim received a Ph.D in Physics from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, Rhode Island, US and a Master’s degree in Physics Education from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. His research results had been published in various scientific journals.
