Stefano Zanella

Head of the Automotive and Industrial Businesses, TDK InvenSense

Stefano brings MEMS sensors to the automotive and industrial markets. Stefano has taken the business from zero revenue in 2016 to a leadership position in the automotive motion 6-axis market.

Stefano was previously the Director of Automotive Marketing and Business Development in Texas Instruments' Battery Management Solutions where he managed marketing, applications, and system engineering, bringing to market several ICs, including the bq76PL455A-Q1, the leading automotive battery management IC of its generation.

Stefano has published in IEEE journals and conference proceedings, contributed articles to automotive magazines, and has spoken at several semiconductor, automotive, and MEMS conferences. Stefano is also active in the not-for profit world where he most recently served on the board of Urban Services YMCA, the social services branch of the YMCA of San Francisco.

Stefano holds an MS and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy and MBAs from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and from Columbia University.
