Yoojin Kim

Yoojin Kim, Ph.D. has been an Etch Technologist at Lam Research Korea since 2010 leading a group of engineers working on process development and productivity improvement of various conductor and dielectric etch applications for memory and logic customers.

Prior to joining Lam Research Korea, Kim worked as engineering manager at Lam Research Corporation, Fremont, CA, USA. During her 5 years at Lam Research Corporation, Kim spent time developing dielectric etch product and process. For the first three years, she was a process engineer before she managed a group of process engineers as engineering manager.

Kim received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA. She studied interfacial structure and properties of block copolymer with various surface techniques and solid state NMR, and continued the work as post doctoral scholar at IBM Almaden Research Center before joining Lam.
